And the blog poll winner is…
It really came down to two finalists, but after trailing nearly the whole time afterthegoldrush came from behind and won my “best local blog” poll. Over 300 votes were cast and ATGR garnered precisely 50% of the vote, beating Salisbury News by 6 votes 152-146. The other six votes went to Twirling, Twirling, Twirling Towards Freedom. It appears that camp placed itself squarely behind ATGR in order to win and the strategy paid off.
While there’s no prize for winning, I suppose Ridgely Griffith can link to this post and the poll itself as proof he has the best blog in Salisbury. I’m not arguing with that sentiment considering his competition, but it is somewhat humorous that the first time ATGR and Salisbury News faced off in the opening round, Salisbury News won. Yet Joe Albero lost when it really counted.
All right, back to more serious stuff for both the blog and the poll.

Best, worst or most insignificant. The only reason that Ridgely Griffith won this “semi-mythical” best blog contest is because he worked harder and had a handful of “friends” that did likewise.
Just like a good political campaign! Maybe that’s where your future lies…
Since nobody answered my question when you started the poll I will ask it again.
Considering Albero’s behaviour this past Christmas stating that the Foxwell girl had been found when she hadn’t and then bragging about his hits due to the horrible situation. Posting that Dr. Alvarado had died when he hadn’nt. His constant lying about people. Almost all of his stories even the cut and paste ones are easily proven false. Also, look up his criminal history on Case Search, its not pretty, includes battery against a women.
Would just one of his supportes state why they support a hate site like that. Maybe Right Coast Girl would answer it as she is a big fan of his.
Don’t hold your breath on that one. The big difference between Joe’s site and legitimate news sites is that they can’t as easily get away with character assassination. Aside from the editorial page, they have to back up their rhetoric with facts.
