Inspirational story
Normally I link to a post and have a lot to say about it, but for a story that’s moving and inspirational not only is this one hard to beat, it needs little in the way of embellishment.
I’ve linked to Oceanshaman pretty much since he started his blog, and this is one outstanding post. In fact, if he’s reading this I would suggest he follow this link and share his story further.

Michael,
Thanks for the plug . . . I wrote this for our local AA newsletter, and thought it might be cool to post . . .
May it help and inspire . . .
Beyond that, I followed your lead and submitted it to the carnival, along with two other posts . . .
Finally, I surfed through some of your musical links, and really liked some of the bands . . . perhaps our musical tastes are not so divergent after all . . .
Namaste . . .
Michael’s lonely, oceanshaman, (Chris Llinus) has been locked up for a year or so, the two of you need to kiss and get a room.
Joe, was that comment truly necessary? That certainly didn’t add to the conversation. You’re better than that, at least I hope so.
I think your sponsoring/supporting a convicted felon is disgusting. This man was involved in the sale of drugs, the distribution of drugs, laundering money and abusing drugs. Just because he’s found the Lord doesn’t mean I’ve forgiven him! It will take many years before I will evaluate his time back in society as one year was nowhere near enough time.
I have also stated publicly, the fact that Chris Llinus hides behind oceanshaman and refuses to use his real name clearly proves to me that he’s still got some serious issues.
Keep buddying up with those Anti Albero people Michael and in the end you’ll see you’ve not made a good friend at all.
[...] …and Leviathan Montgomery is the host this time around. It gave me an opportunity to spread the Ten Questions around farther but there’s other good posts as always, including Oceanshaman taking my advice. [...]
