There was little doubt that he would seek yet another term in the General Assembly, but longtime Delegate Norm Conway made it official Tuesday by filing for re-election.
The 68-year-old Wicomico resident is the first to file on the Democratic side as he seeks a seventh term in the House of Delegates. Last week Republican Mike McDermott, mayor of Pocomoke City in Worcester County, filed his papers as a candidate for the district, which covers all of Worcester County and roughly the eastern half of Wicomico.
