Fact is that they had the opportunity to take these cases to trial and decided not to. And even if the attorney's claim that Kratovil wasn't directly involved in the case was true, doesn't the buck stop at the top? The final decision on prosecuting all cases should rest with Frank. One case I didn't cite featured Frank plea-bargaining away a felony gun charge in return for intent to distribute. That's hard time which could have kept someone off the street. Andy has said that neither the government nor lawyers should try to practice medicine. Andy and his campaign should not try to practice law. There are clear reasons for the charges in question, and it appears that they had to work hard to make two charges stick on the sex offender due to lack of evidence and lack of witness cooperation.
